A GENERAL GUIDE IN DEALING WITH BULL#*!* ( dust )
I’ve had lots of time to think. More than 40 years in fact. And all my thinking has produced a certain level of bull*#@ ( dust ) detection. And the more I think, the better I get at handling it.
Here’s my mental checklist for the identification of bull *#@ ( dust ) :
1. Is it true?
2. Is it fair?
3. Is it realistic?
4. Does it come from an honest place?
5. Does it come from a balanced/educated/experienced place?
6. Is it helpful although initially painful?
7. If adhered to , will it promote growth?
IF ‘NO ‘ to all or most of the above , you have an official bull*#@ ( dust ) situation on your hands and you can banish it from your thoughts / actions immediately so as not to get caught up in it and cause longterm damage.
IT IS SOMEONE ELSE’S PROBLEM AND YOU’RE FREE TO MOVE ON. DO NOT TAKE IT PERSONALLY.
